Malawi is a country destined to rise. Most infrastructure projects fall with the public goods category and are promoted under the Public Private Partnership framework. Malawi offers several roads, rail and energy projects which can be implanted either under PPP or as an Independent Power Producer in case of energy.
To facilitate investment inflows, the country has spent and continues to spend significant efforts to undertake private sector reforms in various sectors. The aim is to ensure that the investment climate is conducive for private sector players, both domestic or foreign to find it simpler to pursue economic opportunities available in Malawi.
